Easter Festivities

Our Easter this year was full of baskets, egg hunts, and of course candy, candy, and more candy. Because Madelyn and Luke have three sets of grandparents, that's three easter baskets/gifts from them and then lets not forget about E. Bunny who visits Sunday morning. We started on Friday with a visit from my Dad and Kim and here are some pics of the enormous basket that they brought for Madelyn...

So, after Madelyn overdosed on M&M's and played her singing bunny until we pretty much contemplated hiding it when she wasn't looking, we then headed to our church egg hunt on Saturday morning. It was really neat because every child was able to find a dozen eggs-of course filled w/ more goodies-and then redeem them for a prize. It was amazing what all they had available to kids. So many people had volunteered and donated toys, games, and baskets of all sizes. We came home with a little fuzzy yellow duck that Madelyn named "Cookie." She fit right in with the others....her tiger named "Haiti" (I think she rhymed that w/ Katie) and my personal fave, Chalky the elephant.
